I believe it was produced for Bitossi Rosenthal Netter and likely dates to the 1960s/early 70s

I presume an older trans woman

I think likely the former--a genie in a box--but am not completely sure as I can't find another example out there like it

especially with those faces at the top corners

This is a large one, late 19th century or so I would guess, with colorful raised designs, I think properly described as tufted wool, against a dark navy ground, also wool I believe. And very sweet hand tatted lace trim around the perimeter. Like a whole showcase
